Home Centre, part of the Landmark Group and a leading omnichannel home furnishings retailer, is hiring a Finance Business Partner to lead FP&A functions and drive strategic financial decisions. This role involves supporting business units through performance analytics, financial modeling, and budgeting while ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and optimizing cost efficiency. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders to influence high-impact decisions across a global retail portfolio.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Partner with business teams to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across various functions
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities to drive business performance and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases for new initiatives, store openings, and marketing campaigns
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls, maintaining accuracy and integrity in all financial data
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and support resource allocation to maximize ROI
Experience & skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
- 5ā10 years of relevant experience in FP&A or business finance roles, preferably in the retail sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial modeling and scenario planning
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with ERP tools like Oracle or SAP
- Experience with budgeting tools like COGNOS will be an added advantage
