Job description
MOHRE, WPS, work permits, visas and end-of-service settlements are daily territory for this HR Manager at a shipping and logistics business in Dubai. The body of the posting describes the role as HR & Administration Manager, covering all HR operations for the Dubai office plus office administration. Local management, employees and senior HR leadership look to you for balanced, legally sound advice on employee relations, recruitment, payroll, compensation, performance and exits. Grievances, investigations, disciplinary action and difficult conversations come up in a culturally diverse workforce that includes Emirati colleagues. Recruitment and onboarding run from sourcing and interviews to visas, travel, temporary accommodation and IT set-up. Monthly payroll is coordinated with Finance and an external provider, with inputs validated before processing. On the administration side, you supervise the admin team and receptionist, oversee invoices and office expenses, coordinate business travel and help expatriate staff with housing rentals. At least 7 years of progressive HR experience is required, including 3 in a managerial or senior generalist role in the UAE, and Arabic is highly advantageous.
