Key responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, review medical histories, obtain consents, and prepare patients physically and emotionally for procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by handling endoscopic equipment, administering medications (as per scope), and monitoring patient vitals
• Monitor patients during recovery, manage sedation recovery, provide discharge education, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate
• Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopy equipment following strict protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to care continuity and compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide clear and compassionate instructions regarding procedure preparation and post-procedure care
