Job description
In this role you will provide personalized people-support to AWS Builders as part of the Builder Experience Team (BeXT), amplifying the voice of the Builder and collaborating with AWS business leaders and other HR teams to innovate, implement, and deploy HR strategies across talent, performance management, compensation, and employee relations. You will consult, coach, and develop leadership through decision making with empathy and high judgement, collaborating on talent management processes, people development, performance management, compensation, and employee relations issues. You are responsible for fostering and role modeling an environment of inclusion for all Builders, and advocating for Builders' needs through end-to-end experiences that help them feel fully engaged and valued. Your responsibilities include exercising high judgement and managing through ambiguity, serving as the first point of escalation for other HR teammates and Builder concerns. You will support Builder queries and situations with discretion and expertise, navigating Amazon policies and applying high judgement as necessary. You are responsible for actively promoting the adoption of technology and self-service, and collaborating and influencing multiple levels of the organization, ranging from Builders to senior leaders and other HR professionals. In this role you will conduct complex workplace investigations with significant autonomy, and understand business goals to design and implement new approaches or procedures that drive continual improvement both in the business and within the HR team.
