Job description
Seal failures on rotating equipment cost customers uptime, and this John Crane Reliability Engineer in Saudi Arabia works on site to find out why and fix it. Root cause analysis is central, using Fault Tree Analysis, Ishikawa (Fishbone) diagrams, Apollo RCA and other structured methods from site assessment and data collection through to recommendations. Reliability assessments of customer equipment look for ways to improve sealing system performance. Field troubleshooting means diagnosing problems and implementing corrective actions alongside customer teams. Installation, dismantling, inspection and assembly of mechanical seals are part of hands-on support, together with measurements and commissioning. Findings are shared with customers in detailed technical presentations that also support sales opportunities. John Crane standards, quality requirements and safety policies apply to every job. Candidates need a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years in rotating equipment and sealing systems with a maintenance and reliability focus, and fluent English, with CRE, CMRP, vibration analysis or thermography certification and Arabic all valued.
