Job description
The Finacle Product Engineer role in Dubai requires a banking technology professional with strong expertise in Finacle Core Banking systems, particularly Finacle 11. The role involves customization, interfacing, and integration of Finacle using product APIs, Connect 24, and Finacle Integrator. Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of Finacle product architecture, customization flows, scripting, and debugging, including handling custom menus, MRT and Jasper reports, batch jobs, and EOD-BOD processes. Strong technical skills in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and Unix shell scripting are required, alongside an understanding of Finacle CRM, FINFADM, and SSOADM modules. The engineer will interact directly with clients, ensuring compliance with best practices in coding, security, testing, and documentation, and will work within Agile frameworks. The role also demands research and benchmarking of emerging technologies, ensuring system design and architecture meet organizational quality standards. Finacle certification from Infosys/Edgeverve is an advantage.

Key responsibilities
- Work on Finacle Core Banking product implementation, customization, and integration
- Handle Finacle 11 requirements and customization architecture
- Develop and manage Finacle interfacing through APIs, Connect 24, and Finacle Integrator
- Customize menus, reports (MRT & Jasper), batch jobs, and product workflows
- Debug and resolve EOD-BOD process issues
- Develop Oracle SQL/PLSQL code including stored procedures, triggers, and functions for Finacle
- Use Finacle scripting and Unix shell scripting for automation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with secure coding, unit testing, and documentation standards
- Apply Agile methodology for project delivery
- Interact directly with clients to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
- Research and benchmark Finacle solutions against industry best practices
- Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and overall system design
- Support Finacle CRM and administration modules (FINFADM/SSOADM)
Experience & skills
- Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Finacle Core Banking (Infosys/Edgeverve)
- Hands-on experience with Finacle 11 customization and architecture
- Experience in Finacle integration (APIs, Connect 24, Finacle Integrator)
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- Experience with Finacle scripting, Unix shell scripting, MRT/Jasper reports
- Strong understanding of EOD-BOD processes and debugging
- Functional knowledge of banking domain and terminologies
- Experience with Finacle CRM, FINFADM, SSOADM
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Ability to deliver high-quality architecture and system design
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to present to senior management
- Finacle certification from Infosys preferred
