The Performance Marketing Executive role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (KSA) is focused on overseeing the negotiation, purchasing, and management of advertising campaigns for e-commerce brands in the MENAT and Central & Eastern Europe markets. The position ensures ads reach target audiences through optimal channels while maximizing budget efficiency and outperforming competitors. The role involves assisting in identifying target audiences, organizing media campaigns, conducting research on ad placements, comparing and negotiating rates for ad space and airtime, and optimizing media plans and budgets to achieve the best media mix. The executive will monitor campaign costs and ROI, provide detailed reporting to clients, and build long-term relationships. Responsibilities include sampling new platforms and channels to identify effective advertising opportunities, ensuring creative and appropriate ad placement, analyzing segment audiencesā characteristics, purchasing behavior, and media habits, liaising with media owners to verify statistics and circulation, and providing media recommendations including timing and cost breakdowns to guide client decision-making. The role requires keeping media schedules updated according to audience metrics and trends, maintaining awareness of evolving digital and traditional media platforms, and ensuring campaigns are aligned with client objectives and organizational marketing strategies. Candidates are expected to have knowledge of media analytics software such as comScore, strong negotiation and communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and critical thinking capacity, with fluency in Arabic and English.

Key responsibilities
- Develop, negotiate, and purchase advertising space and airtime across digital and traditional media platforms to optimize ad exposure and maximize ROI for clients
- Assist in identifying target audiences and organizing media campaigns by conducting market research, analyzing audience behavior, and selecting the most effective media channels
- Compare and negotiate rates with media vendors, ensuring the best possible cost-effectiveness and alignment with budget objectives
- Optimize media plans and budgets to ensure efficient allocation across channels and platforms, sampling new platforms and channels to determine effectiveness and relevance
- Ensure all advertising content is creative, appropriately displayed, and aligned with client branding and campaign objectives
- Monitor campaign costs, track ROI, and provide detailed performance reports to clients, highlighting opportunities for improvement and future strategies
- Research and evaluate segment audiencesā characteristics, purchasing habits, and media consumption patterns to inform campaign decisions
- Liaise with media owners to verify circulation, viewing statistics, and platform metrics to ensure accuracy and campaign effectiveness
- Provide clients with media recommendations, including optimal timings, cost breakdowns, and potential campaign adjustments, to guide informed decision-making
- Modify and adapt media schedules based on latest audience metrics, market trends, and competitive analysis to continuously optimize campaign performance
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and media professionals, ensuring trust, transparency, and continued collaboration
Experience & skills
- Prior working experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar advertising/media role with experience managing campaigns across multiple platforms
- Experience in digital media and media buying, planning, and research is preferred
- Strong knowledge of media analytics tools and software, including comScore, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns accordingly
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and media owners
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Demonstrated interest and awareness of advertising and media trends, with the ability to adapt strategies based on evolving industry standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver measurable business outcomes
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, with strong spoken and written communication skills
- Hold a BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
