Job description
DT One seeks a commercially astute, execution-oriented Business Development Manager to drive regional growth for its global mobile top-up and digital non-cash micropayments network, which interconnects 550+ mobile operators across 160 countries via 1,500+ partners. Based in Dubai, the role owns regional revenue targets and pipeline health, manages regional P&L accountability, and leads structured new business acquisition across telecommunications operators and platform partners. The mandate includes building and maintaining C-level relationships, creating persona-based go-to-market approaches aligned to vertical pain points, and institutionalizing market segmentation and repeatable go-to-market playbooks. The BDM will lead weekly pipeline reviews, KPI reporting, sales activity governance, opportunity conversion tracking, and forecast accuracy; identify and execute commercial initiatives such as ODM platform adoption, ecosystem expansion, and monetization of untapped opportunities; and act as the strategic voice of the customer while collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Legal, and Finance. The role requires deep understanding of mobile recharge, mobile payments, digital distribution ecosystems, and cross-border micropayments, coupled with disciplined, data-driven sales execution to convert high-potential opportunities into revenue and transform relationships into long-term strategic value. The position also represents DT One at industry events and key commercial meetings to drive brand and business visibility across the region.

- Drive new business acquisition and regional revenue growth through structured sales strategies, disciplined activity, and data-driven execution.
- Own and manage regional P&L accountability to ensure profitable growth and commercial rigor.
- Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with telecommunications operators and platform partners to unlock high-value opportunities.
- Develop persona-based go-to-market approaches aligned to customer priorities and vertical-specific pain points, supported by clear market segmentation and repeatable playbooks.
- Lead weekly pipeline reviews and report on commercial KPIs, sales activity, opportunity conversion, and forecast accuracy to ensure pipeline health.
- Identify and execute new commercial initiatives including ODM platform adoption, ecosystem expansion, and monetization of untapped opportunities.
- Serve as the strategic voice of the customer internally and collaborate with Product, Tech, Legal, and Finance to shape offerings and remove blockers.
- Represent DT One at industry events and key commercial meetings to enhance brand visibility and create demand.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent commercial training preferred.
- Bring 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry with a minimum of 5 years in commercial/business development roles.
- Demonstrate an established network of C-level relationships within telecommunications operators.
- Show proven success managing large enterprise accounts and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Exhibit a track record of developing and executing innovative business strategies across mobile recharge, mobile payments, and digital distribution ecosystems.
- Operate with strong activity discipline and commercial rigor, leading with data to deliver measurable results.
