Job description
The Property Risk Consulting (PRC) Leader, MENA at Marsh McLennan will spearhead the firm's property risk consulting practice across the region, overseeing a team of up to 12 risk engineers and managing a portfolio that includes property, construction, and power sector clients. Based in Dubai with hybrid work flexibility and regional/global travel, the role encompasses leadership and team development, client engagement, delivery of engineering surveys and risk assessments, and the management of a USD 5 million P&L. The role requires business development, promoting innovative risk solutions, and active participation in industry forums to enhance Marsh’s market presence. Candidates must demonstrate deep technical knowledge, leadership in multicultural settings, and strategic thinking aligned with global objectives. The role also involves close collaboration with global teams to ensure service consistency and best practice sharing across markets.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of risk engineers across MENA
- Act as the primary account engineer for major property, construction, and power clients
- Oversee the delivery of engineering surveys, risk assessments, and loss estimations
- Drive business development initiatives and promote product innovation
- Manage a P&L of approximately USD 5 million including invoicing and collections
- Enhance Marsh McLennan’s industry presence through thought leadership and client forums
- Collaborate with global teams to develop new service offerings and ensure consistency
- Identify new client opportunities and support regional growth strategies
Experience & skills
- 8–10 years in risk engineering with experience in manufacturing, construction, or power sectors
- Minimum 2 years in insurance or risk consulting
- Proven leadership and team management abilities in a multicultural environment
- Deep technical knowledge in property, construction, and power risk consulting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client relationship management
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- Advanced certifications are a plus
- Strong understanding of GCC market dynamics and regulatory landscape
