Job description
As a Technology Sales Specialist for IBM Power Systems, you'll be instrumental in guiding clients through their digital transformation by demonstrating the value of IBMâs secure, scalable, and hybrid cloud-enabled systems. You will manage a portfolio of clients, build trusted relationships, identify opportunities, lead the end-to-end sales process, and collaborate with IBM's internal ecosystem and business partners to drive growth. Training on IBMâs Power offerings will be provided, and a culture of continuous learning supports your growth.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee a dedicated client portfolio and convey the value of IBM's technology both technically and commercially
- Apply solution-selling skills to identify and influence key decision makers
- Assess business opportunities and client needs to establish strategic relationships
- Manage the full sales process including RFI/RFP responses and KPI achievement
- Emphasize new business acquisition while supporting existing accounts
- Collaborate with IBM teams including Marketing, Technical Sales, and Business Partners
- Formulate sales campaigns to expand the sales pipeline
- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients in the Power Systems domain
Experience & skills
- Proven track record in technology sales with focus on client acquisition
- Ability to apply and communicate business and commercial acumen
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of IBM Power Systems or willingness to train and specialize
- Experience managing sales KPIs and processes from prospecting to closure
