Job description
The Finance Presales Senior Solution Advisor in Kuwait plays a critical role at the intersection of finance expertise, technology, and sales strategy. This senior-level position is responsible for driving presales initiatives by demonstrating the value of SAP Finance and Risk Management solutions to prospective clients. The advisor acts as a trusted partner to client executives and finance leaders, helping them envision how SAP cloud technologies can optimize finance operations, strengthen risk management practices, and enable digital transformation. The role requires a deep understanding of finance operations, financial planning and analytics, accounting and financial close, treasury, working capital, and enterprise risk management processes. It also demands presales experience in articulating complex solutions, conducting discovery workshops, delivering compelling demos, and guiding clients through multi-level decision-making cycles. The advisor collaborates closely with sales teams, solution specialists, and industry experts to develop tailored solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term strategic goals. Strong communication, business acumen, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value are key to success in this role. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand business challenges and finance operations requirements.
- Deliver executive presentations and value-based solution demonstrations.
- Support deal cycles as a Solution/Deal Captain for complex multi-LOB solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions to assess client needs and align SAP solutions accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales, Industry Value Engineering, and Solution Advisory teams for business development.
- Assist in RFI and RFP completion and provide proof points with relevant customer success stories.
- Design and deliver demos and workshops, including Design Thinking sessions, both onsite and virtually.
- Provide limited post-sale support to ensure smooth transition to implementation teams.
- Participate in readiness activities, new product testing, and knowledge transfer within SAP hubs and teams.
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance implementation or equivalent finance/accounting roles.
- Functional expertise in Finance Operations, FP&A, Accounting & Financial Close, Treasury & Working Capital Management, or Enterprise Risk Management.
- 3–5 years of presales experience preferred, with strong sales process knowledge.
- Demonstrated success in multiple finance solution engagements (5–7 implementations).
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in English and business-level local language.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- SAP Finance solution certifications strongly recommended.
- Ability to engage C-suite executives and present complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
