Job description
The Senior Account Executive (Commercial Sales) is responsible for driving new business growth and managing a portfolio of key commercial accounts in Abu Dhabi. The role encompasses full-cycle sales activities including prospecting, qualifying, closing deals directly and through partner networks, and up-selling and cross-selling within existing accounts. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and partners to ensure successful deployment of Veeam’s data resilience solutions, including data backup, data recovery, data portability, data security, and data intelligence. The incumbent will establish engagement strategies for the largest accounts, contribute to pipeline generation as part of daily activities, coordinate marketing initiatives in the territory, and forecast revenue expectations. The role operates within a fast-paced environment and is focused on leveraging Veeam’s industry-leading solutions to enable clients to control, protect, and utilize their data effectively, ensuring business continuity and resilience. Fluency in Arabic and English is required, and experience with IT infrastructure vendors, virtualization technology, cloud, SaaS, and security is advantageous.

Key responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close business directly and through the partner network within the commercial accounts portfolio
- Drive new business sales activity with Commercial accounts mainly based in Abu Dhabi
- Generate and maintain a sales pipeline as part of daily routine and incorporate pipeline management into regular activities
- Up-sell and cross-sell Veeam solutions to the existing customer base in the territory
- Establish plans and strategies for engaging with the largest commercial customers in the territory
- Forecast revenue expectations and report on sales activities from the territory
- Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities in the territory to support sales efforts
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated sales experience in Abu Dhabi
- Minimum 3 years of consistently exceeding sales quotas
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Proven ability to develop new sales with end-users and build strong relationships with commercial, medium, and enterprise organizations
- Experience with vendors associated with virtualization technology, cloud, SaaS, and security
- Track record of accomplishment selling to IT infrastructure specialists and engaging with C-level executives
- Ability to accurately forecast sales outcomes and possess strong sales skills
- Self-starter with ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Demonstrated growth mindset and capability to work independently
