Job description
The Assistant Manager, Medical Representation at Nestlé Nutrition in Taif is responsible for ethically promoting Nestlé’s infant nutrition products to healthcare professionals while ensuring adherence to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes and local regulations. The role requires field-based engagement with pediatricians, obstetricians, and other medical decision-makers to provide accurate education on product features, benefits, and proper usage. The position involves building long-term professional relationships, ensuring optimum territory coverage, monitoring product availability, quality, freshness, and pricing, and executing agreed-upon territory action plans within budget. The role supports Nestlé’s broader goal of enhancing infant health, while promoting responsible use of nutrition products in situations where exclusive breastfeeding is not possible. Communication with commercial teams, reporting insights, and maintaining compliance with all ethical marketing guidelines are critical aspects of this position.

Key responsibilities
- Promote Nestlé infant nutrition products ethically to healthcare professionals, providing accurate information on product usage and benefits
- Advise healthcare professionals on exclusive breastfeeding practices for the first six months when possible, in line with WHO guidelines
- Develop and maintain long-term professional relationships with healthcare providers and medical decision-makers
- Ensure optimum coverage and management of the assigned territory, including prospection, insights gathering, and sharing
- Monitor product availability, visibility, freshness, and pricing to maintain quality service to healthcare professionals
- Create, implement, and execute agreed territory action plans within allocated budgets
- Report and share relevant market insights, trends, and competitor information with internal stakeholders
- Ensure strict adherence and compliance with WHO International Code, Nestlé instructions, and local country regulations
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Nutrition, Biology or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in medical representation, sales, or healthcare field roles
- Strong English and Arabic communication skills (written and spoken)
- Proven ability to educate, advise, and influence healthcare professionals
- Experience in territory management and executing action plans
- Knowledge of WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes and Nestlé compliance guidelines
- Ability to work independently in the field with strong time management and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated ethical decision-making and adherence to compliance standards
