Job description
The IT Risk and Quality Management Lead Officer, based in Riyadh, is responsible for developing and maintaining IT risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. The role involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring technology risks, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity mandates, data privacy regulations, and capital market-specific governance standards. The officer collaborates with IT teams to embed risk and quality practices into projects and service delivery, drives continuous improvement in IT service quality through KPIs and root cause analysis, and ensures alignment with regulatory and internal governance. Candidates must have a strong background in IT risk, audit, or quality assurance, preferably in financial services or capital markets, with proficiency in risk frameworks and IT controls.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the IT risk management framework, policies, and procedures
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report on technology risks and control effectiveness across IT domains
- Monitor compliance with data privacy regulations, cybersecurity mandates, and IT governance requirements
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate risk and quality practices into project and service delivery processes
- Drive IT service quality improvement via KPI tracking and root cause analysis
- Ensure IT activities align with regulatory, industry, and internal governance standards
- Carry out department operations in line with company standards
- Prepare timely and accurate departmental reports
- Address internal and external customer needs courteously and efficiently
- Follow relevant policies and procedures for consistent work delivery
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity enhancement
- Promote adherence to organizational policies among colleagues
- Maintain respectful and professional relationships within the organization
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management or similar (Master's preferred)
- Have 3+ years of experience in IT risk management, IT audit, or IT quality assurance
- Preferably have experience within financial services or capital markets sectors
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate proactivity and a positive, constructive attitude
- Exhibit clear communication and organizational commitment
- Show capability in cooperation, collaboration, and calculated risk taking
- Hold relevant professional certifications (preferred)
