Job description
The VCA Sr. Manager - Consulting at Visa in Dubai is a key member of the Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) organization in MENA, responsible for driving commercial traction, project delivery, and thought leadership across consulting practice areas. The role delivers subject matter expertise and consulting support to Visa’s key clients across clusters, with the objective of deepening client relationships and optimizing client performance by designing and assessing payments strategies and implementing initiatives that enhance customer engagement. The Senior Manager collaborates with VCA colleagues, Visa account executives, and cross-functional teams including Products, Business Development, Risk, Marketing, Digital Solutions, Digital Partnerships & Ventures, and Innovation Center to cultivate and manage a pipeline of consulting engagements with leading banks and merchants. The role includes leading or serving as a subject matter expert on engagements spanning portfolio, digital, and risk domains, leveraging VISA and external data to analyze client needs, identify consulting opportunities, support sales pitches, contribute to internal problem-solving sessions, prepare for and participate in client discussions, and manage or coordinate project delivery. The position requires deep expertise in payments industry trends including evolving economics of payments, digitalization, mobile platforms, digital ecosystems, advanced analytics, authorization processes, regulatory changes, and customer lifecycle management across acquisition, activation, usage, reactivation, and retention. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency, superior project management skills, and the ability to travel frequently across MENA for extended client site engagements.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with VCA colleagues, Visa account executives, and cross-functional teams to cultivate and manage a pipeline of consulting engagements with major banks and merchants
- Lead or serve as subject matter expert on consulting engagements across portfolio, digital, and risk practice areas
- Analyze client needs using VISA and external data to identify opportunities for consulting assignments
- Support and contribute to sales pitches and internal problem-solving sessions
- Prepare for and participate in client discussions, delivering credible presentations to senior management
- Manage and coordinate project delivery to ensure seamless consulting execution
- Work closely with internal groups including Products, Business Development, Risk, Marketing, Digital Solutions, Digital Partnerships & Ventures, and Innovation Center
- Contribute to development of consulting practice areas and related product development initiatives
Experience & skills
- Master’s degree preferred from a top business school
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a top-tier consulting firm, including exposure to financial services
- At least 2 years of management consulting experience at post-MBA entry level
- Deep expertise in payments consulting including portfolio, digital, and risk domains
- Strong knowledge of issuers, acquirers, merchants, customer lifecycle strategy, mobile platforms, digital ecosystems, authorization, and advanced analytics
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills with strong analytical capability
- Superior project management and client engagement skills
- Ability to travel frequently and work on client site across MENA
- Fluency in English mandatory; Arabic desired
