Job description
DP World is seeking a Facilities Management Manager β Technical to lead and manage hard services delivery across projects and contracts in Dubai. The role is responsible for strategy, planning, operations management, business development, and HSEQ compliance within large-scale facilities management environments supporting ports, logistics, and supply chain infrastructure. The position oversees the full project lifecycle from scope definition and planning through execution, monitoring, and delivery, while actively participating in commercial activities such as lead generation, bid estimations, budgeting, and tender submissions. The role manages comprehensive hard FM maintenance strategies including Planned Preventive Maintenance, reactive and corrective maintenance, predictive maintenance, and capital improvement projects, ensuring achievement of contractual SLAs and KPIs. The FM Manager β Technical ensures compliance with UAE laws, governing authorities, international FM standards, and HSEQ requirements, while driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, innovation in maintenance technologies, and high levels of customer satisfaction through effective client, vendor, and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities
- Participate in commercial activities including lead generation, bid estimations, budgeting, and tender submissions
- Plan, generate, and defend financial and operational results in line with approved business plans and targets
- Manage the full project lifecycle including scope definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and commercial risks as part of departmental risk management
- Ensure effective allocation and utilization of human and material resources across all projects and contracts
- Lead, coach, mentor, and evaluate project and site teams to meet performance objectives
- Develop, implement, and manage hard services maintenance strategies covering PPM, reactive, corrective, predictive maintenance, and capital improvement projects
- Ensure operational delivery meets contractual SLAs and KPIs
- Analyze performance data and implement continuous improvement plans to optimize service delivery and costs
- Monitor industry trends and evaluate new maintenance technologies, tools, and methodologies
- Control project budgets, optimize costs, and ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and contract renewals
- Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements and UAE regulations
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorβs or Masterβs Degree in Facilities Management or Engineering
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior technical services role
- Have at least 5 years of managerial experience within Facilities Management
- Demonstrate proven experience managing hard FM services including MEP, HVAC, and Civil systems
- Hold a valid UAE Driving License
- Exhibit strong technical expertise in facilities operations, project management, contract management, and budget control
