Job description
Northern Trust is hiring a Senior Analyst, Settlement Processing for its Custody Operations team in Riyadh. This role is responsible for managing trade settlements, corporate actions, income processing, and custody-related client service functions. The ideal candidate will possess experience in investment operations, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset with a thorough understanding of the Saudi financial market and regulatory environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Manage Middle Eastern Trade and Settlement activities
- Oversee cash and stock reconciliations ensuring regulatory compliance
- Manage proxy voting activity ensuring nil errors
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and counterparties
- Analyze internal reports and raise appropriate queries to ensure client delivery accuracy and compliance
- Participate in custody operations meetings across locations to enhance subject matter expertise
- Resolve queries within set standards and timeframes
- Support audit processes by delivering documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Prepare monthly and quarterly KPIs
- Escalate operational issues appropriately and ensure clear communication
- Update operational procedures in line with process changes
- Collaborate with the local depository to ensure seamless operations
Experience & skills
- Experience in investment operations (custody operations preferred) with fair knowledge of the Saudi market
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English
- Proactive approach and ownership of issue resolution
- Ability to multitask and apply strong analytical and organizational skills
- Good understanding of risk management and financial regulations
- Ability to operate effectively within a team
