Job description
IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 disclosures are the main focus for this Sustainability Assurance Manager in PwC's Doha Assurance practice. Engagements run from planning and risk assessment through execution and reporting under ISSA 5000 or ISAE 3000/3410. Processes, controls and data systems behind sustainability reporting need testing for design and operating effectiveness. Climate related disclosures, scenario analysis and transition plans are reviewed for accuracy, completeness and alignment with ISSB. Clients across energy, financial services, government, industrials and consumer markets also look to you for readiness assessments and advice on reporting governance. Regional regulation moves quickly, so developments from QFMA, QCB, GCC regulators and stock exchanges need close tracking. Budgets, project plans and deliverables schedules are agreed with the engagement leader, and junior team members from sustainability and financial assurance backgrounds rely on your coaching. Proposals, client presentations and thought leadership help build the practice in Qatar and the wider Middle East. Candidates bring 5 to 7 years in financial and sustainability assurance, ideally in a Big 4 firm, with strong knowledge of ISSB, the GHG Protocol and ISAE 3000/3410, plus willingness to travel from a Qatar base.

- Communicate results and their impact and contribute to final reporting
- Serve as a subject matter resource on ISSB, climate related reporting and ESG frameworks
