The Senior Coordinator – Shipping role at Chalhoub Group is responsible for coordinating and processing all documentation required for the execution of import and export shipments in support of the Group’s luxury retail operations across its multi-brand, omnichannel portfolio. The role provides specialist functional expertise in shipping and logistics execution, ensuring that all import and export activities are carried out in accordance with defined processes, management-approved terms, and required timeframes. The position ensures full compliance with state regulations, customs requirements, and all other applicable laws governing international trade. Responsibilities include obtaining and processing all required shipping and customs documentation, verifying freight forwarder invoices against agreed price lists, ensuring that all shipments are adequately insured, and managing the investigation and settlement of shipping claims. The role is accountable for accurately recording shipment performance and logistics metrics within internal systems and for immediately reporting, investigating, and correcting any breaches related to the Integrated Management System, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards, as well as company quality, health and safety, environmental, policy, and security requirements. The position operates within Chalhoub Group’s broader supply chain and sustainability framework, supporting reliable, compliant, and efficient movement of goods across international markets.
