Job description
The Associate Manager - Foresight Research at Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) will coordinate and deliver foresight research projects that investigate emerging technologies, policy trends, and socio-economic shifts. The role includes managing research workflows, conducting both primary and secondary research, and collaborating with global partners. A key component of the role is to position DFF as a thought leader in innovation by contributing high-quality, evidence-based research. This includes attending foresight conferences and fostering cross-sectoral partnerships.

Key responsibilities
- Lead small to mid-sized foresight research projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Define research methodologies, scope, and objectives in collaboration with the research team.
- Structure workflows, manage documentation, and oversee milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct literature reviews, data collection, and comparative analysis on interdisciplinary topics.
- Support primary research including survey development and expert interviews.
- Extract insights from academic, policy, and industry sources to inform strategic outputs.
- Maintain relationships with think tanks, research institutions, and technology partners.
- Participate in international foresight forums and summits to represent DFF.
- Support collaborative research efforts using data analytics for future intelligence.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree with 4ā6 years of experience, or Masterās degree with 2ā4 years in research and data analytics.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Experience in high-quality presentation design and public speaking.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A passion for foresight, future studies, and staying ahead of global trends.
