Job description
Aramco is seeking a Business Development Professional to join its International Retail Department (IRD), which is responsible for global retail fuel operations, strategy, and M&A. The role entails screening and prioritizing retail business opportunities, developing complex business cases, assessing operational and financial risks, leading commercial negotiations in M&A transactions, and updating Aramcoâs retail and downstream strategy. It involves high-level stakeholder engagement, strategic presentations to executive management, and managing multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities
- Screen retail fuel business proposals using strategic and technical criteria to prioritize opportunities.
- Develop complex business cases and analyze feasibility studies for new ventures.
- Provide expertise in evaluating risks, operating models, and market offerings in retail fuel projects.
- Lead commercial due diligence and negotiate key terms in M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of agreements.
- Update and present retail and downstream strategy proposals to executive management.
- Deliver clear and effective senior-level presentations and respond dynamically to feedback.
- Simultaneously manage multiple strategic initiatives under tight deadlines.
- Analyze financial metrics and communicate implications to varied audiences.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, or Engineering.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in fuel retail or related business, with P&L and international oversight experience.
- Proven track record in business development and M&A activities.
- Strong commercial mindset with deep understanding of financial statements and value drivers.
- Ability to work independently and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility to address diverse topics.
