Job description
The VIP & Institutional Marketing Lead at Binance plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's global visibility among institutional clients and VIP users. The role involves designing and executing high-impact marketing strategies, driving social media growth, and overseeing offline event planning and sales enablement materials. It demands deep familiarity with the digital asset ecosystem and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support product launches, lifecycle marketing, paid advertising, and PR strategies. As part of Binanceās VIP Marketing Team, the lead will enhance user engagement, retention, and brand strength across international markets.

Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic planning and execution of VIP & Institutional marketing initiatives to enhance Binance's reputation as the premier destination for institutional digital asset trading
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Legal, PR, and other departments to align on go-to-market strategy for new institutional products and services
- Design and implement high-impact marketing campaigns targeting hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, HFTs, brokers, fintechs, and asset managers
- Drive growth and engagement on key social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn, by creating, scheduling, and optimizing content tailored to VIP audiences
- Manage and evolve a detailed content calendar to ensure consistency and relevance across VIP institutional communication channels
- Strategize and execute offline activations at key events, including flagship summits, regional roadshows, and private networking engagements
- Support end-to-end event marketing including planning, branding, content creation, product collateral, stakeholder alignment, and performance evaluation
- Lead integration of lifecycle marketing efforts to improve customer journey and retention metrics across institutional and VIP segments
- Coordinate SEO and paid acquisition efforts, aligning them with the broader institutional marketing roadmap
- Build and maintain a library of institutional-facing educational content and sales enablement materials to support the VIP sales cycle
- Collaborate with the PR team to support media outreach, coverage amplification, and brand positioning for Binanceās institutional offerings
- Regularly track campaign performance metrics and ROI, using insights to iterate and optimize future campaigns and user journeys
- Monitor industry trends, competitorsā campaigns, and client feedback to proactively adjust messaging and campaign direction
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 8ā10 years of experience in marketing, preferably with a strong focus on product and institutional marketing in the financial or crypto sector
- Proven experience developing and launching go-to-market strategies that effectively position products to institutional audiences and VIP clients
- Strong subject matter knowledge of the blockchain ecosystem and digital asset products including exchanges, trading platforms, and institutional custody solutions
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth and engagement on social platforms such as LinkedIn and X for B2B or institutional brands
- Hands-on experience in managing offline events including agenda setting, branding, and stakeholder coordination
- Expertise in performance marketing tools, SEO strategies, and paid media optimization relevant to institutional user acquisition and retention
- Proficiency in building educational content and marketing collateral tailored to sophisticated investors and finance professionals
- Strong data analysis capabilities and comfort working with KPIs, dashboards, attribution models, and campaign ROI calculations
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of interfacing with senior leadership and external partners
- Understanding of compliance and legal considerations when marketing financial or crypto products globally
