The Senior Procurement Analyst at ENOC will manage the procurement of high-value and critical goods and services, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier pre-qualification, techno-commercial analysis, and compliance with ENOC policies. The role involves overseeing the full procurement cycle, conducting market research, developing cost-effective specifications, and implementing process improvements through automation and redesign. This position also includes training junior staff, ensuring uninterrupted supply, and maintaining compliance with quality, environment, health, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities
- Follow company purchasing policies and participate in their review and improvement.
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from preparation to negotiation and follow-up.
- Screen potential bidders and select the appropriate procurement method.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and monitor price trends.
- Perform techno-commercial analysis to recommend the best supplier bids.
- Assist end-users in developing competitive and cost-effective specifications.
- Maintain updated technical knowledge by reviewing product catalogues and industry publications.
- Respond to and analyse technical queries from suppliers with end-user collaboration.
- Support superiors in achieving company targets and programs.
- Drive process improvement, simplification, and automation in procurement.
- Train and mentor new procurement staff.
- Ensure compliance with ENOC’s quality, environment, health, and safety management systems.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business Administration, preferably Engineering.
- 8+ years direct procurement experience in oil/gas or petrochemical industries.
- Professional certification in Material/Supply Management (preferably MCIPS) and project management.
- Knowledge of internal procurement processes, standards, and policies.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in standard computer software applications.
- Understanding of basic finance and technical terminology used in process plants.
- Knowledge of market practices, supply sources, and commercial laws.
- Ability to collect market data and analyse supply logistics.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to propose technically equivalent alternatives.
