Job description
The Governance Lead Analyst will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the companyâs corporate governance frameworks, policies, and charters. The role involves ensuring compliance with governance requirements, analyzing governance-related risks, advising leadership on regulatory updates, overseeing authority delegation, and maintaining governance records. The position is central to embedding compliance and ethical conduct across the organization while enhancing governance processes in line with evolving regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and regular review of the Groupâs corporate governance policies, charters, and frameworks.
- Monitor compliance with internal governance requirements and relevant regulatory obligations.
- Provide analytical and advisory support on governance-related risks and improvements to internal controls and governance structures.
- Track updates in laws and regulations affecting corporate governance, and recommend necessary updates to frameworks and policies.
- Oversee the proper delegation of authority and segregation of duties across business functions to mitigate governance risks.
- Maintain awareness of evolving governance codes, institutional governance reforms, and regulatory expectations, advising leadership on necessary adaptations.
- Ensure effective documentation and archiving of governance records, policies, and decisions.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct in line with the organizationâs governance principles.
- Carry out daily operations assigned for the department to comply with the companyâs standards.
- Prepare timely and accurate department reports to meet requirements and objectives.
- Ensure satisfaction of internal and external customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes to ensure work is carried out consistently.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes, practices, cost effectiveness, and productivity.
- Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions across the organization.
- Maintain respectful relationships with colleagues and represent the company positively.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor Degree in Law, Business Administration, MIS, or similar (Masterâs preferred).
- Professional certifications are preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in governance, legal, or compliance roles, preferably in financial or regulated sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail.
