Job description
The Performance Improvement â Management Consultant (Vice President) role at AlixPartners is a permanent, Riyadh-based position within the Performance Improvement practice, reporting to a Director and supporting top-tier clients and leading private equity firms across a wide range of industries including Retail, Energy, Real Estate, Investment Funds, and Aerospace & Defence. The role focuses on moving rapidly from analysis to action to deliver lasting value through end-to-end performance improvement engagements, including operational diagnostics, supply-chain optimisation, cost-reduction initiatives, and financial modelling to quantify impact and support decision-making. The position operates within a hybrid work model combining in-person work at client sites or the AlixPartners office in KAFD, Riyadh, with remote working, and requires travel across the GCC depending on client and project needs. The role involves contributing as a crucial component of specialist consulting teams, supporting portfolio value creation initiatives for private equity clients, and advising on transaction-related matters, while upholding AlixPartnersâ Core Values and Code of Conduct and fostering an inclusive environment across all levels of client organizations.

Key responsibilities
- Support end-to-end delivery of performance improvement consulting projects across multiple industries including Retail, Energy, Real Estate, Investment Funds, and Aerospace & Defence
- Conduct operational diagnostics to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
- Design and support supply-chain optimisation initiatives to improve efficiency and resilience
- Develop and execute cost-reduction initiatives to enhance client financial performance
- Build financial models to quantify impact, evaluate scenarios, and support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with specialist consulting teams to support value creation initiatives for private equity portfolio companies
- Support transaction-related advisory work as required by client engagements
- Work in hybrid in-office, client-site, and remote environments while traveling across the GCC as required
Experience & skills
- Hold a Masterâs degree with strong academic performance, preferably in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a foreign equivalent
- Possess 5â8 years of consulting experience within a top-tier international consulting firm
- Demonstrate broad functional expertise across supply chain, large-scale transformations, financial modelling, and pricing
- Maintain strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Be willing to travel across the GCC for client engagements
- Hold valid residency for Saudi Arabia or be able to obtain such, with eligibility to secure work permits for travel and work across the EU
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with Arabic language proficiency considered advantageous
- Be willing to work outside normal business hours as project needs arise
- Be able to work full time in both office-based and remote environments and perform prolonged computer-based work
