Job description
Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) is hiring a Relationship Manager ā Retail Real Estate in Sharjah and Dubai. The role is responsible for acquiring new customers for retail real estate finance and mortgage products, maintaining and strengthening customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets. The Relationship Manager will act as a key liaison with developers, agencies, mortgage brokers, and government entities, while ensuring compliance with consumer protection standards, KYC, and Central Bank regulations. The position also involves cross-selling retail banking products, handling customer complaints, conducting promotional activities, and benchmarking against market competitors.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire new retail real estate finance/mortgage customers via sales calls and visits
- Resolve customer complaints through proactive service
- Develop relationships with developers, real estate agencies, mortgage brokers, and government entities
- Identify and establish new relationships consistent with retail objectives
- Demonstrate understanding of Consumer Protection Regulations and fair treatment standards
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets for home finance and cross-sell retail banking products
- Ensure submitted customer applications and documentation are complete and error-free
- Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers about relevant products and services
- Assist in promotional activities, meetings, and roadshows to achieve sales volume
- Benchmark SIB products/services against competitors and provide feedback to improve offerings
- Ensure compliance with consumer protection standards and fraud prevention
- Recommend improvements to procedures and ensure compliance with policies, KYC, and Central Bank regulations
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās or Diploma degree in a commercial-related field
- 3ā5 years of experience in mortgage/retail home finance sales, preferably in banking
- Strong oral and written English; Arabic is an advantage
- Experience in customer acquisition and relationship management
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of consumer protection regulations and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with KYC and Central Bank regulations
