Job description
Ooredoo Kuwait needs someone who can turn partnership ideas into real structures, and that's the core of this Manager, Strategic Business Development role, working under the direction of the Executive Director, Strategy & Corporate Affairs. You'll develop partnership strategy and execute partnerships end to end, from creating partnership hypotheses and selecting partners to negotiating agreements and building new structures such as joint ventures and open innovation hubs. Commercial analysis and recommendations on value creation span both core telco areas and new business partnerships. Growth strategies and associated initiatives get defined with a focus on new business, including M&A, strategic partnerships and ventures. M&A acquisitions get analyzed and executed directly, leading value-accretive projects in expansion and inorganic growth. A pipeline of opportunities gets screened and managed, with strategic rationale and prospective returns on investment assessed for shareholders. Market analysis, cost-benefit analysis, business cases and feasibility studies all support new inorganic opportunities and projects. Valuation analysis, financial modelling, definitive agreement negotiation and due diligence oversight all run through this role, working alongside third-party advisors.
