Job description
The Operations Lead - FC Core Ops role within Amazon Operations (Q Tech General Trading LLC - G23) focuses on overseeing shift management in fulfillment centers, sortation centers, or delivery stations within Amazonās end-to-end logistics and supply chain network. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of customer order fulfillment processes while continuously improving operational performance on the ground. The Operations Lead supervises and trains associates, manages labor allocation across shifts to meet forecasts, ensures adherence to safety and quality guidelines, and coordinates with support functions to resolve operational challenges such as process readiness, safety compliance, training effectiveness, and 5S standards. The role leverages data analysis, innovation, and process optimization to improve logistics performance and solve supply chain issues. It plays a key role in maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where continuous improvement, safety culture, and customer-centric execution are central to Amazonās global operations strategy.

- Create and maintain a safe working environment by identifying and addressing safety opportunities

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree
- Experience managing medium to large teams
- Experience in operations or logistics roles (preferred 1+ years)
- Ability to work with data analysis and make operational decisions based on insights
- Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Experience in shift-based operational environments (preferred)
- Ability to coordinate across multiple operational functions
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in high-volume logistics or fulfillment environments
