Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on global best practices in adaptive regulation and identify opportunities for regulatory modernization
• Identify gaps in existing legislative and regulatory frameworks across AI, Health Tech, Green Tech, and Real Estate Tech
• Propose evidence-based regulatory modernization solutions and identify laws requiring amendment
• Support the design of sandbox experiments by providing regulatory context and ensuring alignment with Sandbox Dubai objectives
• Provide guidance to innovators regarding regulatory requirements and compliance parameters
• Partner with operations teams and regulators to monitor adherence to UAE federal and Dubai-specific regulations
• Draft policy briefs, reports, recommendations, and internal/external documentation
• Monitor global best practices in emerging tech policies and integrate findings into local policy development
• Facilitate workshops and consultative sessions with regulators, innovators, and stakeholders
• Provide subject-matter expertise to address regulatory barriers and support stakeholder decision-making
• Prepare reports summarizing sandbox experiment learnings to support evidence-based policymaking
• Conduct comparative analyses of international innovation policies to inform Dubai’s regulatory direction
• Maintain updated understanding of Dubai’s legal frameworks and global adaptive regulation trends
• Maintain comprehensive records of policy changes, rationales, and stakeholder inputs
