Job description
The Marketing & Communication Manager at Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa in Oman is responsible for developing and executing the propertyâs digital strategy, managing public media presence, and maintaining consistent brand imagery online. The role includes measuring and reporting on performance across digital channels, managing social media content and reputation, coordinating with PR agencies and the HQ team, and supporting the General Manager with tasks related to marketing, sustainability, and environmental impact. The role demands creativity, strategic thinking, and alignment with the hotel's local storytelling approach while driving guest engagement and positive community relations. It requires a strong foundation in marketing principles, guest experience, corporate social responsibility, and hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in producing the marketing strategy and digital reports.
- Plan and monitor company presence across all social media and online channels.
- Measure and report on performance of digital marketing channels monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Stay up to date with online marketing trends and apply insights to strategy updates.
- Develop new marketing initiatives, events, and crossover collaborations to drive engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms.
- Track and manage online reputation and website content for the resort.
- Liaise with PR agency and marketing HQ team to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Support the General Manager with additional assigned responsibilities.
- Design and implement activities for environmental and community impact.
- Maintain effective relationships with hotel colleagues to enhance morale and team spirit.
- Stay informed of developments in communication sustainability and suggest enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain high personal hygiene, professional appearance, and behavior at all times.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Conduct all duties ethically and in compliance with local laws.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in marketing management within the hospitality industry.
- Experience focused on guest experience and responsible business practices.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage marketing budgets.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- Creative mindset with understanding of content marketing and brand management.
- Knowledge of sustainable business practices and corporate social responsibility.
