Job description
Apple Retail in Dubai Mall, Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Manager - Dubai Metro Market to lead retail store operations, drive business performance, and create a positive environment for customer interactions aligned with Appleās customer experience standards. The Senior Manager is responsible for leading teams including Managers, supporting Store Leader business strategies, and identifying, analyzing, and solving complex operational and performance challenges. The role involves driving store vision, executing operational strategies, managing retail KPIs, supporting recruitment, training, and retention of diverse teams, and maintaining Appleās inclusion and diversity culture. The Senior Manager actively participates in floor leadership, interacts with customers and team members, addresses escalations, and ensures business priorities are met. Responsibilities include operational planning, performance monitoring, protecting company assets, maintaining policy compliance, and ensuring confidentiality of business, customer, team member, and financial information. The role requires scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends, and public holidays, proficiency in English and local language, leadership experience in retail or sales environments, and ability to use analytics and operational insights to make sound decisions. The position also focuses on mentorship, coaching, performance development, stakeholder collaboration, and maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive retail environment while supporting Appleās operational excellence and customer experience goals.

Key responsibilities
- Lead retail store teams including Managers by setting performance expectations, empowering team members to achieve business goals, and supporting professional development initiatives aligned with Apple Retail operational standards
- Drive store performance by planning and executing operational strategies across assigned functional areas, monitoring retail KPIs, and collaborating with Store Leader to achieve business priorities and revenue targets
- Participate in floor leadership by engaging with customers and team members, modeling customer experience excellence, addressing operational issues, and ensuring service standards are consistently maintained
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain diverse retail teams while managing workforce planning, succession planning, and performance coaching initiatives
- Address customer escalations and team member concerns by collaborating with leadership, People partners, and business stakeholders to resolve issues effectively
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while protecting company assets including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information
- Promote inclusion and diversity initiatives by creating a respectful and safe workplace environment, demonstrating inclusive leadership behaviors, and supporting diverse team development
- Analyze operational challenges, use retail analytics, and collaborate with Store Leader to solve complex business problems and improve store performance
Experience & skills
- Possess minimum 3 years leadership experience in retail, sales, or related field with experience managing store operations and team performance
- Maintain proficiency in English and local language both written and spoken for customer engagement and stakeholder communication
- Demonstrate ability to lead retail teams, manage performance goals, and execute operational strategy within fast-paced retail environments
- Show experience in recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management of retail teams including Managers
- Demonstrate ability to analyze operational data, use retail analytics, and make sound business decisions to achieve performance targets
- Maintain flexibility to work retail schedules including nights, weekends, and public holidays based on business needs
- Demonstrate knowledge of retail operations, customer experience management, and store performance metrics
- Show ability to manage escalations, stakeholder communication, asset protection, and policy compliance while maintaining inclusive workplace standards
