Job description
Oversee and support maintenance, projects, and improvement activities in the instrumentation section of Polymer I&II plants. Ensure compliance with engineering standards and procedures, support technical audits, and provide expert-level guidance for reliability, safety, and cost-effective engineering solutions in a refinery or petrochemical environment.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the technical support management of all maintenance, projects and improvement-related activities in an assigned section or field
- Review and consolidate technical documentation and evaluate the undertaking of regular audits of engineering support jobs to ensure compliance with international engineering standards
- Review and consolidate engineering procedures and supervise implementation to prevent miss-operations and human errors
- Ensure assigned section's engineering tasks meet corporate safety and cost standards
Experience & skills
- A First degree in engineering or relevant science major
- Minimum 14+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Sector
- Technical experience in engineering in refinery or petrochemical environments
- Demonstrated specialty and expertise in instrumentation or related field
- Knowledge of process & operations, maintenance & engineering practices in refinery or petrochemical plants
- Technical expert level knowledge in Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Studies, SIL Assessment & Validation
- Ability to review and guide team to optimize PM Program
- Strategic thinking and decision making capabilities
- Leadership skills to lead and inspire teams
