Job description
The Senior Consultant - Transfer Pricing role involves leading full workstreams of transfer pricing engagements including functional analyses, benchmarking, economic modelling, and TP documentation, while reviewing technical outputs prepared by junior staff. The position requires developing TP planning strategies, providing technical input to structuring engagements, and supporting broader international tax work including corporate tax, due diligence, and VAT. Responsibilities encompass client communication, managing multi-jurisdictional projects in coordination with global offices, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines, drafting proposals, reports, and technical memos, and ensuring compliance with risk processes. The role also involves coaching and training Associates and Consultants, managing job economics, monitoring WIP, billing, collections, engagement closure, and contributing to practice development initiatives such as internal training and proposal development. Strong technical knowledge of TP rules, methods, and economic principles, advanced project management, analytical skills, report writing, and team leadership are required, with fluency in English; Arabic is advantageous.

- Review benchmarking analyses and technical sections prepared by Associates and Consultants
- Develop TP planning strategies and provide technical input to structuring engagements
- Support broader international tax work including corporate tax, due diligence, and VAT
- Serve as main day-to-day contact for client communication and relationship management
- Manage multi-jurisdictional projects, coordinating with global offices and consolidating regional deliverables
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
- Draft and review proposals, reports, and technical memos
- Ensure compliance with risk processes across engagements and escalate issues proactively
- Coach and train Associates and Consultants, providing structured feedback
- Manage job economics including WIP monitoring, billing, collections, and engagement closure
- Contribute to practice development initiatives including internal training and proposal development
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CTA) or relevant master’s degree preferred
- 5-6 years of transfer pricing experience in a professional services environment
- Strong understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS Action 13, and regional TP laws
- Experience leading functional analyses, benchmarking, economic modelling, and TP documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Advanced project management skills including managing multiple stakeholders
- Strong report writing and communication capability
- Ability to lead teams and manage delivery across multiple engagements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage
