Job description
The Manager - Logistics (Warehouse Operations) at Red Sea Global is responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse performance in a high-volume FMCG environment, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency across all operational processes. The position oversees inbound, picking, inventory control, and outbound logistics functions, enforcing HSE, ISO, and SFDA standards to maintain a zero-incident workplace. The manager provides strategic oversight of daily operations, directing teams of warehouse associates while safeguarding stock integrity through SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). The role requires implementing continuous improvement initiatives through lean methodologies, digital tools, and performance monitoring using key performance indicators (KPIs). Additional duties include maintaining equipment, pest control, waste management, and housekeeping, as well as managing stakeholder engagement, audits, and warehouse security protocols. This leadership role emphasizes accountability, data-driven reporting, and coordination across procurement, transport, and project teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

- Lead and coach warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain productivity.
- Oversee inbound, picking, and outbound operations to ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on schedule.
- Safeguard inventory integrity through audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of SAP/WMS data.
- Enforce HSE, ISO, and SFDA standards to ensure safety and full regulatory compliance within warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with procurement, transportation, and project teams to coordinate seamless logistics and timely deliveries.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), generate operational and financial reports, and identify efficiency improvements.
- Address operational challenges including stock shortages, equipment downtime, and process discrepancies.
- Implement lean methodologies, digital process tools, and continuous improvement practices to enhance warehouse performance.
- Recruit, train, and retain warehouse staff, ensuring professional development and succession planning.
- Maintain housekeeping standards including pest control, waste management, and equipment preventive maintenance.
- Act as the main liaison with internal departments, external partners, and auditors during inspections and reviews.
- Manage warehouse security through access control, CCTV monitoring, and safeguarding of high-value inventory.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ warehouse experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience in FMCG or high-volume distribution environments.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficiency in inventory management, stock control, and KPI-based performance measurement.
- Experience with ISO, SFDA, and HSE regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and develop warehouse teams in high-pressure, fast-paced settings.
- Advanced analytical, reporting, and process optimization capabilities.
- Ability to manage stakeholder engagement and ensure operational integrity across all warehouse functions.
