Job description
Samsung Gulf Electronics seeks a Supply Chain Manager for the Visual Display Team, based at Butterfly Building, Tower A, Dubai Media City, Dubai, UAE (req. id R108005). The role manages stock availability for the right product portfolio and drives key processes including Demand Planning to manage Weeks of Stocks and Channel Inventory, leading the PSI (Production, Sales, Inventory) process with Product Managers and Key Account Managers. Responsibilities include preparing material for Demand Planning (PSI) and business update meetings where critical supply and demand issues are decided; performing planning to secure sales and production visibility through improvement and stabilization of logic that provides Return to Forecast (RTF); analyzing supply chain problems by managing mid- to long-term demand and resources to establish optimal supply chain; providing material to manage initial ramp-up and launch of each model and effectively allocating resources considering Product Life Cycle (PLC); preparing supply strategies and quantity allocation with a Profit and Loss focus by analyzing competitiveness of supplier location (lead time, logistics cost, custom tariff, material costs); performing stock management with consideration for country/region lead times to prevent and manage aging stock in conjunction with the sales team; and providing SCM-related input for strategic annual/quarter plans and RHQ presentations/reporting. The role oversees logistical processes with Supply Chain and factory teams for timely delivery and requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills, organization, detail orientation, multi-tasking under tight deadlines, and experience in managing and developing direct reports, with exposure to the electronics industry desirable.

- Improve and stabilize logic that provides Return to Forecast (RTF) to secure sales and production visibility
- Analyze supply chain problems by managing mid- to long-term demand and resources to establish an optimal supply chain

Experience & skills
- 8–11 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with experience managing and developing direct reports
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Exposure to the electronics industry is desirable
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines as part of a team
