Job description
The Sales Manager (Commercial Segment, Enterprise Technology) for Red Hat in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will lead sales and partner engagement in the Commercial customer segment, promoting enterprise open source solutions including Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies. This is a quota-oriented role requiring deep expertise in enterprise technology domains such as infrastructure software, operating systems, security, cloud-enablement, information management, middleware, IT services, system integration, and application development. Responsibilities include managing a team of sales and customer-facing professionals, overseeing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and ensuring optimal wallet-share with customers. The role demands pipeline creation, accurate forecasting, and identification of key sales indicators. The manager will develop and execute joint business plans, drive revenue growth strategies, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, particularly at the C-level. The position also involves mentoring and coaching team members, adding new talent, and ensuring P&L targets are met or exceeded. Arabic and English fluency are required. Candidates must be Saudi nationals and have experience in global technology companies with both direct and matrixed reporting structures.

- Manage a team of experienced sales and customer-facing professionals in the Commercial segment
- Lead comprehensive engagements with customers, partners, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Manage delivery to plan, create pipeline, and guide linearity and wallet-share optimization
- Develop and implement joint business plans to identify growth areas and increase revenue
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Red Hat and assigned segments
- Coach, mentor, and lead team members while adding new talent to the organization
- Guide and communicate the value of open source and demonstrate technology integration benefits
- Ensure P&L targets are met or exceeded
Experience & skills
- 7+ years of customer-related sales experience in enterprise technology
- Experience in infrastructure software, including operating systems, security, cloud-enablement, information management, and middleware
- Experience in IT services, including system integration and application development
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level customers and partners
- Understanding of complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
- Proven success implementing strategies to grow regional revenue
- Track record of ownership over revenue targets, accurate forecasting, and identifying sales indicators
- Experience in direct and matrixed reporting lines in a global technology company
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a relevant advanced degree
- Proven P&L management experience
- Fluency in Arabic and English languages
