Job description
The Analyst - Problem Management at Dubai Airports is responsible for providing technical expertise and operational support for all IT systems that underpin DA business objectives, encompassing IT infrastructure and application services from basic desktop systems to complex flight information systems. The role requires identifying trends and potential problem sources through incident and problem analysis, maintaining and publishing the BT Knowledge management system regularly to meet business needs, and ensuring all internal and external stakeholders understand the information. The position also involves recommending improvements for problem management and knowledge management processes, monitoring the effectiveness of error control, and implementing cost reduction opportunities. Technical expertise in LAN, WAN, Data Centers, Servers, Storage, Security solutions, corporate applications, ERP solutions, network management, data center management, and application management tools is essential. The role contributes to Dubai Airportsā strategic mission of delivering innovative, advanced, and world-class IT systems that enable efficient airport operations and connect global operations.

Key responsibilities
- Identify trends and potential problem sources by reviewing incident and problem analysis
- Manage, maintain, and publish BT Knowledge management regularly to ensure alignment with business needs and understanding by all stakeholders
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction within IT operations and processes
- Provide recommendations for improvements in problem management and knowledge management processes
- Monitor the effectiveness of error control mechanisms and propose enhancements as required
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to resolve issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure and application services from desktops to complex flight information systems
Experience & skills
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field
- 3ā5 years of overall and relevant experience in problem management or IT service management
- Technical knowledge of Dubai Airports IT infrastructure and application systems including LAN, WAN, Data Centers, Servers, Storage, and Security solutions
- Strong knowledge of corporate applications and ERP solutions
- Knowledge of network management, data center management, and application management tools
- Ability to identify trends and potential problem sources using incident and problem analysis
- Experience in maintaining and publishing knowledge management systems to meet business requirements
- Capability to recommend improvements to problem and knowledge management processes
- Experience monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of error control mechanisms
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and application services required to support operational excellence in airport operations
