Job description
Kearney is hiring a ME Controller/Analyst to support client finance operations for the Middle East region from its Dubai or Riyadh office. This role is key in managing project lifecycles, financial tracking, invoicing, and pipeline reporting. The Analyst will ensure compliance with financial policies, work cross-functionally with global teams, and support senior leadership with strategic and operational financial insights. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong grasp of finance processes in a consulting environment.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with project officers to ensure accurate job opening and revenue recognition in compliance with Finance policies.
- Manage project financial records, including start/end dates, budget input, and invoice scheduling.
- Action time and expense recharges and support invoice issuance and translation where required.
- Track project progress in SAP and support the Senior Controller in managing collections and cash forecasts.
- Maintain clean and up-to-date pipeline data, ensuring proposal details and PRAFs are logged correctly.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks including client code creation, audit requests, and reporting tools access.
- Liaise with backend teams to ensure accurate data recording and financial control across engagements.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of client finance operations and reporting processes.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Finance or Accounting; ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA certification (completed or in progress).
- 3ā5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within professional services or consulting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a global team environment.
- Proactive and commercially minded, capable of working independently and cross-functionally.
