Job description
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is seeking a Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking to join its Retail Banking Group (RBG), which supports retail and micro-business customers by providing expert financial advice and a comprehensive suite of specialist products and services across conventional banking and Shariāah compliant banking. The role involves managing client relationships, acquiring new clients, and growing a commercial banking portfolio by offering tailored financial solutions, value-added services, and alternate digital channels. The Relationship Manager will conduct financial analysis including balance sheet analysis and evaluation of key financial ratios, prepare and submit accurate credit applications, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience. The position requires building and maintaining a comprehensive client dossier providing a 360-degree client view, conducting client visits, evaluating risk profiles, and reporting risk changes to approving authorities. The role supports ADCBās digital innovation initiatives and focuses on increasing transaction volumes, securing profitable business transactions, and delivering high-quality customer service aligned with ADCB Service Standards. The Relationship Manager will adhere to organizational policies, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements while managing client portfolios and supporting business growth objectives within commercial banking. The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, adherence to people management policies, and maintaining high service standards while supporting the bankās strategic growth initiatives within UAE banking.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire new commercial banking clients by identifying business opportunities, conducting financial analysis, preparing credit applications, and ensuring accurate onboarding processes to secure profitable business transactions and achieve assigned targets
- Perform financial analysis including balance sheet analysis and evaluation of key financial ratios to assess client creditworthiness and support credit application submissions
- Build and maintain comprehensive client dossiers providing a 360-degree view of client profiles, financial needs, risk exposure, and future opportunities for portfolio growth
- Conduct client visits to assess operational performance, understand business requirements, evaluate risk profiles, and report risk changes to approving authorities
- Offer banking solutions including alternate channels enrollment, value-added services, and tailored banking products to increase transaction volumes and expand portfolio growth
- Manage client portfolio by maintaining strong relationships, monitoring performance, and identifying cross-selling opportunities across conventional and Shariāah compliant banking products
- Adhere to ADCB Service Standards, organizational policies, compliance requirements, and standard operating procedures while delivering consistent customer service
- Manage personal performance in alignment with people management policies, processes, and practices while contributing to commercial banking growth objectives
Experience & skills
- Possess minimum 6 years of experience managing client relationships and commercial banking portfolios within banking or financial services environment
- Hold Bachelorās Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline relevant to commercial banking and financial services
- Demonstrate knowledge of financial analysis including balance sheet analysis and evaluation of key financial ratios
- Demonstrate experience preparing credit applications and supporting client onboarding processes within commercial banking environment
- Demonstrate experience managing commercial client portfolios and acquiring new business opportunities
- Demonstrate experience conducting client visits and performing risk profiling and credit risk assessment
- Demonstrate knowledge of banking products including conventional and Shariāah compliant banking services
- Demonstrate knowledge of banking compliance, standard operating procedures, and service standards within commercial banking environment
