Job description
Careem Pay is looking for a Lead Product Manager - Remittance to spearhead the development and scaling of its cross-border money movement product in the UAE and beyond. This strategic, high-impact role will define the vision and roadmap for Careemās fastest-growing fintech product ā Send Money. The product leader will work on enhancing transaction performance, reducing costs, improving speed, and elevating customer satisfaction across remittance corridors. This role blends deep remittance domain knowledge with product innovation and strong stakeholder collaboration to build a trusted, efficient financial service offering for the region.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Own the performance and efficiency of money movement rails in the UAE
- Drive improvements in speed, reliability, and cost of send money transactions
- Build the product roadmap and deliver measurable improvements in customer experience
- Define and own KPIs including transaction success rate and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with banks, regulators, and partners to integrate with local payment schemes
- Launch and scale new cross-border remittance corridors
- Reduce average costs of sending money across markets
- Ensure >95% transaction success rate
- Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Take full lifecycle ownership of the product: discovery, delivery, and improvement
Experience & skills
- Minimum 7 years of product management experience
- At least 2 years in fintech with direct experience in remittance or send money products
- Strong understanding of payment infrastructure and local payment schemes
- Exposure to financial compliance and regulatory landscapes
- Strong analytical and product optimization skills
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments
- Proven ability to manage complex product portfolios and deliver measurable results
- Experience launching cross-border financial services is highly preferred
