Job description
The Senior People Operations Specialist at Foodics will manage the end-to-end HR operational processes in Riyadh, ensuring compliance with Saudi labor laws, efficient payroll and benefits administration, and a seamless employee experience. This role is central to supporting the People & Culture function by implementing and maintaining high-quality people processes, fostering engagement, and driving operational excellence in a rapidly growing SaaS company serving the MENA region.

Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, status changes, and offboarding
- Prepare and process accurate payroll, liaising with finance for correct disbursements
- Administer employee benefits programs, particularly group medical insurance, and serve as primary liaison for claims
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi labor laws and maintain interactions with government labor offices
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices
- Document, standardize, and optimize HR operational workflows and processes
- Support employee engagement initiatives and serve as a trusted point of contact for HR queries
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and ensure HRIS data integrity
- Monitor changes in labor laws, benefits regulations, and statutory requirements, updating processes accordingly
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Operations role with payroll, benefits, and compliance focus
- Hands-on experience with Saudi social insurance programs and government labor office procedures
- Experience administering group medical insurance policies and claims support
- High proficiency with HRIS platforms, payroll software, and Excel/Google Sheets
- Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi labor laws, statutory benefits, and employment standards
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
