Job description
The Marketing Manager (Hotel Marketing & Brand Management) at Kempinski Hotel Palm Jumeirah is responsible for assisting the General Manager in positioning and promoting the hotel and its outlets as a market leader through comprehensive hospitality marketing strategies while ensuring full compliance with Kempinski Corporate Identity guidelines and brand standards. The role manages the development and execution of the hotel media and marketing plan, coordinating closely with external advertising agencies, creative suppliers, and internal departments to implement marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and generate business growth. The Marketing Manager is responsible for determining the return on investment of marketing campaigns by monitoring marketing ROI analysis and response rates and implementing corrective actions when necessary to improve marketing effectiveness. The role plays a significant part in developing the hotel’s marketing budget and maintaining strict marketing budget management to ensure financial efficiency. The position oversees the creation and implementation of a wide range of hospitality marketing activities including advertising campaign management, promotional campaign management, market analysis, promotional packages, collateral production, photo-shootings, and both online and offline direct marketing campaigns. The Marketing Manager maintains and manages the guest database for targeted mailings and email marketing activities while coordinating with the Food and Beverage department to promote restaurants, outlets, and hospitality services. The role also manages marketing collateral including give-aways, printed materials, and brand assets while maintaining digital asset management systems such as Picture Park and VFMLeonardo for proper storage and distribution of images. The position provides website content management support by delivering approved content and images for hotel websites in alignment with corporate branding guidelines and ensuring third-party websites maintain updated and compliant marketing content and photography. The Marketing Manager acts as the brand custodian for both the hotel and the Kempinski brand, ensuring all creative materials are reviewed and approved by Corporate Marketing before advertising agencies or printers proceed with production. The role maintains coordination between the hotel and Corporate Marketing teams, ensures colleagues are informed of updated corporate marketing guidelines, and works closely with sales, public relations, web teams, and creative agencies to support integrated marketing operations. The position contributes to promotional theme events, promotional campaigns, and invitation list preparation while proactively promoting hotel rooms, Food and Beverage outlets, banquets, conferences, and other business-generating services. The Marketing Manager participates in the internal knowledge-sharing platform my.kempinski to share marketing best practices such as successful promotions, collateral, and outlet launches to encourage inter-hotel learning. The role also conducts competitive benchmarking and market trend analysis to maintain awareness of hospitality industry developments and supports sales and marketing performance tracking while proposing corrective actions when necessary. In addition, the Marketing Manager participates in sales and marketing training programs, maintains awareness of hotel promotions, rates, and operational developments, and provides administrative support to the marketing office when the coordinator is absent while performing additional marketing responsibilities required by the business and hotel operations.
