Job description
The Head of Distribution role is a senior leadership position within an Abu Dhabi-based global financial market infrastructure company operating in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets, the role is responsible for developing and executing the sales and distribution strategy for alternative investment products offered on the firm’s platform. The position drives business growth through sales leadership, client relationship management, business development, marketing, and product strategy, with a strong focus on expanding the client base across Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and family offices. The role involves originating new product ideas aligned with market demand, executing cohesive multi-market distribution strategies, onboarding and managing key clients, and leading high-performing sales and distribution teams to achieve revenue and growth targets within a competitive financial services landscape.

- Develop and execute the overall sales and distribution strategy for alternative investment products
- Build, maintain, prospect, and onboard relationships with Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and family offices
- Design and implement marketing strategies to promote the firm’s investment offerings
- Originate new product ideas aligned with market demand and alternative investment trends
- Develop and execute cohesive distribution strategies across multiple markets
- Lead, manage, and motivate sales and distribution teams to achieve business objectives and revenue targets
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client base and market presence
- Oversee client relations to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction
- Identify key market opportunities and competitive positioning within the alternatives landscape
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a business-related field
- Possess relevant professional certifications related to financial services or investments
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across alternative investments including private credit, private equity, venture capital, and real assets
- Exhibit proven experience building, leading, and motivating high-performing sales and distribution teams
- Demonstrate a strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Maintain existing, deep, and long-standing relationships with High Net Worth principals and family offices
- Demonstrate ability to develop and implement effective distribution and business growth strategies
- Exhibit experience driving significant growth within a competitive financial services environment
