Web services and application programming interface solutions need structured, high quality testing to support a multinational organization operating in travel and hospitality and airlines, and that focus defines this Test Manager role. You plan and manage end to end testing activities for these solutions, working across hybrid delivery teams on day shifts to keep releases reliable. Test strategies and test plans get designed using Postman, SoapUI and related tools, validating both functional and non functional requirements along the way. Comprehensive test cases and reusable test data sets follow from service contracts, business rules and acceptance criteria, giving thorough coverage of application programming interface scenarios. Manual and automated tests run against endpoints and web services using Rest API calls, checking data integrity, response codes and error handling behavior. Structured query language scripts get written and optimized for backend database verification, confirming that service responses match expected data transformations and storage rules. Specifications, user stories and technical designs get reviewed alongside architects and developers to catch testability gaps, risks and dependencies early. Defect triage runs in coordination with development, product and operations partners, backed by clear descriptions, impact assessments and reproducible steps. Testing metrics such as defect density, execution progress and coverage get tracked and reported to stakeholders, and test analysts receive guidance on consistent standards and reusable patterns.
