Job description
The Marketing Specialist within Abu Dhabi Commercial Bankās Retail Banking Group supports retail and micro-business customer marketing activity across a diverse portfolio of conventional and Shariāah compliant products. The role establishes professional relationships with key account personnel, manages marketing projects to ensure timely roll-out, assists with marketing calendars and reconciles planned versus actual activities, and ensures all marketing-related activities remain within budget and follow standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include executing routine monthly communications such as statements and newsletters, writing marketing briefs, coordinating with agencies, negotiating fees, tracking job status, and supporting the roll-out of marketing campaigns. The position entails managing information flow to dependent departments such as Finance, working with approved external suppliers to deliver marketing activities, overseeing supplier performance, and supporting team management and supervision to ensure adherence to departmental policies, processes, and procedures. Additional responsibilities include motivating the team to participate in change initiatives, ensuring service standards are met in all interactions, and providing weekly status updates in line with defined standards.

- Manage marketing projects within agreed timelines and processes to ensure successful rollout
- Assist with the marketing calendar and reconcile actual activity versus planned activity
- Ensure all activities are executed within budget and follow SOPs
- Execute routine monthly communications including statements and newsletters
- Write marketing briefs and coordinate with agencies, including negotiating fees where required
- Track and manage marketing jobs systematically to ensure timely delivery
- Support the line manager in rolling out marketing campaigns
- Deliver weekly status updates in line with required standards
- Provide accurate information to other departments such as Finance for reporting purposes
- Work with bank-approved external suppliers to deliver marketing activities
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure performance meets ADCB expectations
- Supervise team activities to achieve objectives and deliver business plans
- Implement departmental policies, processes and procedures and ensure adherence
- Motivate the team to identify and implement change initiatives
- Apply ADCB service standards to deliver required levels of service internally and externally
Experience & skills
- At least 4 years of marketing work experience in a reputable organization
- Bachelorās Degree; Marketing or Advertising is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage projects and timelines
- Experience coordinating with agencies and suppliers
- Ability to handle marketing budgets and reconcile planned versus actual activities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
