Job description
The IT Program Delivery Support Manager acts as the central point of contact for support of area and regional IT Program deployments at DHL Express Dubai. The role provides local support for all implementations and deployments of DHL services, ensures adequate IT and business resources for project plans, and supports infrastructure initiatives as required. The incumbent manages project planning, budgeting, risk assessment, team coordination, and post-project reviews to ensure successful delivery of IT programs. Responsibilities include collaboration with country business teams such as OPS, GTWY, FINANCE, CS, and COMMERCIAL to deploy EGAP solutions, working with Regional Program Management to channel requirements, liaising with ITSCs and service providers to prioritize projects, monitoring costs and resource allocation, and standardizing services across the EGAP portfolio. The role emphasizes optimizing business and operational processes via automation, fostering high-performance culture within project teams, and maintaining close alignment with global and regional IT program delivery standards.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact for support of area and regional IT Program deployments, providing direct local support for all implementations and deployments of DHL services
- Collaborate with country business teams including OPS, GTWY, FINANCE, CS, and COMMERCIAL to deploy EGAP solutions and achieve functional KPIs
- Work with Regional Program Management to channel requirements and change requests for country deployments, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Liaise with ITSCs and other service providers to prioritize projects, review service performance, and address issues raised by internal and external customers
- Develop project plans including scope, deliverables, key stakeholder requirements, and budgets; ensure alignment and agreement from all project sponsors
- Manage project execution against agreed plans and budgets, identify risks, escalate issues, and ensure project completion and sign-off
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate benefits realization and implement corrective or remedial actions as necessary
- Define project scope and goals to meet regional or country objectives, optimize business and operational processes via automation, and standardize the service portfolio in line with EGAP guidelines
- Manage project teams to adhere to methodologies, deliverables, and foster a customer-focused, high-performance service culture
- Create awareness of solutions and services among country business units and productize solutions to reduce time to market
Experience & skills
- Strong technical background and understanding of business and operational processes
- Good knowledge of telecommunications and networking
- Ability to direct and influence senior managers outside direct line management to achieve project objectives
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Recognized industry-standard Project Management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2 or PMP)
- At least 5 years of multi-disciplined IT experience, including experience in a high-volume, large-scale logistics organization
- Exposure to IT departments delivering strategies aligned with business goals
- In-depth understanding of international standards such as ISO and ITIL
- Energetic, results-oriented, and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on high-quality project delivery
- Degree in Information Services or equivalent
