Job description
To maintain Aviation Refueling Equipment and all associated static and mobile facilities in line with international standards, with an aim to ensure continuous and safe operations with minimal downtime.", "Responsibilities": [ "Carries out preventive maintenance checks and repairs on Aviation Refueling Equipment and other allied static and mobile facilities as per maintenance schedule drawn in co-ordination with Maintenance Supervisor.", "Carries out independently maintenance jobs and basic repairs on automotive and aviation components of the Refueling Equipment and allied facilities involving pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation and fuel lines.", "Communicates with Operations group in taking feedback and attending to breakdown jobs and repairs and ensuring minimal equipment downtime.", "Carries out maintenance activities safely and in line with the Company’s Environmental/ Safety Policies and Procedures/ Standards as specified in the Aviation Fuelling Operations and Aviation Quality Control Manuals.", "Completes and maintains documentation related to maintenance activities and accounting jobs such as inventory reconciliation, transactions in Oracle system.", "Reads and interprets technical literatures, drawings and schematic diagram for carrying out repairs, installation & commissioning and troubleshooting works.", "Co-ordinates with the Supervisor for preparing the preventive maintenance schedule, maintaining optimal inventory of spare items, analyzing failures and root cause and taking necessary steps to prevent its re-occurrence, planning and updating the Supervisor on his daily activities, carrying or supervision of contractual maintenance works, compliance of Audit/ Inspection Observations, and any work assigned by the Supervisor.

- Carries out independently maintenance jobs and basic repairs on automotive and aviation components of the Refueling Equipment and allied facilities involving pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation and fuel lines.
- Communicates with Operations group in taking feedback and attending to breakdown jobs and repairs and ensuring minimal equipment downtime.
- Carries out maintenance activities safely and in line with the Company’s Environmental/ Safety Policies and Procedures/ Standards as specified in the Aviation Fuelling Operations and Aviation Quality Control Manuals.
- Completes and maintains documentation related to maintenance activities and accounting jobs such as inventory reconciliation, transactions in Oracle system.

- Performs extra allocated duties such as assistance to Technical Manager in maintenance of equipment and facilities at EA locations, assist Technical Manager and Supervisor in various new initiatives or improvements in the equipment or maintenance procedures, provide inputs for upgradation of maintenance checklists and procedures based on experience and inputs from actual equipment problems.
- Assists during Management System Audits, Financial Audits, Environment Audits, Quality Control Inspections, etc.
Experience & skills
- 2 years as a technician/mechanic in an Aviation Refueling company OR
- 3 years as a technician/mechanic in an automotive maintenance garage/service centre OR
- 3 years as a technician or fitter handling piping, valves, strainers, etc.
- Proficiency in English and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good Interpersonal relationship, motivational and team building skills with good planning and decision making abilities.
- Good IT skills.
