As a Purchasing Manager (Brand Building Beauty) at P&G, based in DUBAI GENERAL OFFICE, the role is responsible for strategically sourcing and managing procurement activities related to beauty brands, driving value and innovation while ensuring compliance and efficiency. The mandate includes developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies for brand-building activities within the beauty sector aligned with overall business objectives and leveraging market insights; leading competitive bid processes and supplier negotiations with external suppliers to secure favorable terms, quality, and cost-effectiveness; managing and administering commercial agreements and contract management processes to ensure adherence to terms, conditions, and legal requirements; utilizing advanced analytics to identify cost savings, efficiency improvements, and innovation opportunities within the beauty purchasing portfolio; driving cash acceleration initiatives through effective purchasing practices and supplier relationship management; implementing and maintaining control self-assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies, anti-bribery regulations, and ethical sourcing standards; leveraging procurement platforms such as Coupa and PBI (Purchases Business Intelligence) to optimize purchasing processes, track performance, and generate actionable insights; forecasting annual savings, tracking key performance indicators, and contributing to the financial health of the beauty business; ensuring adherence to information security protocols and data privacy requirements throughout the purchasing lifecycle; collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand brand needs and execute brand-building initiatives; and contributing to continuous improvement of sourcing strategy policy and purchasing best practices. The role operates within a leading global consumer goods company focused on innovation-driven beauty brands and requires engagement with e-commerce, digital marketing, and channel retail contexts while conducting business in English, with Arabic considered a plus.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end strategic sourcing strategies for brand-building activities within the beauty sector, align initiatives with overall business objectives, leverage market insights and advanced analytics to drive value creation, support innovation across beauty brands, and continuously enhance sourcing strategy policy and purchasing best practices within the organization
- Lead comprehensive competitive bid processes from supplier identification and qualification through evaluation, negotiation, and award, conduct detailed supplier negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness, and manage and administer commercial agreements and contract management activities ensuring strict adherence to contractual terms, conditions, and legal requirements
- Utilize advanced analytics and PBI (Purchases Business Intelligence) to generate actionable insights, identify cost savings opportunities, drive efficiency improvements and innovation within the beauty purchasing portfolio, forecast and track annual savings, monitor and report key performance indicators, and contribute to the financial health and performance transparency of the beauty business
- Drive cash acceleration initiatives through disciplined purchasing practices and proactive supplier relationship management, implement and maintain robust control self-assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies, anti-bribery regulations, and ethical sourcing standards, and ensure full adherence to information security protocols and data privacy requirements throughout the entire purchasing lifecycle
- Leverage procurement platforms such as Coupa to optimize purchasing processes, ensure accurate transaction management, track supplier performance and savings realization, and generate performance dashboards using PBI (Purchases Business Intelligence) to support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders to understand brand needs across e-commerce, digital marketing, and channel retail, translate brand-building requirements into effective sourcing strategies, and ensure seamless execution of procurement activities that support innovation-driven beauty initiatives
Experience & skills
- Obtain a minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) or Business-Related disciplines and demonstrate academic foundation suitable for managing strategic sourcing and procurement responsibilities within a global consumer goods environment
- Demonstrate real passion for e-commerce, digital marketing, and channel retail, and apply this understanding to brand-building activities within the beauty sector, ensuring sourcing strategies effectively support evolving commercial and consumer engagement models
- Exhibit strong analytical capability and critical thinking skills to interpret advanced analytics outputs, utilize PBI (Purchases Business Intelligence), track key performance indicators, forecast annual savings, and identify cost savings, efficiency improvements, and innovation opportunities within the purchasing portfolio
- Show proven ability to positively collaborate with and influence external suppliers and stakeholders, lead competitive bid processes and supplier negotiations, and manage commercial agreements and contract management activities in alignment with business and legal requirements
- Ensure knowledge of and adherence to anti-bribery regulations, ethical sourcing standards, internal policies, control self-assessments, information security protocols, and data privacy requirements throughout all procurement and purchasing activities
- Demonstrate ability to conduct business in English in a multinational environment, with Arabic considered a plus, enabling effective communication with regional and international stakeholders and suppliers
