Job description
The Finance Executive β Emirati Talent at Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment in Dubai supports financial operations across the organization, ensuring accurate reporting, accounting, and cost tracking in alignment with company policies. The role involves preparing detailed cost reports, managing payroll and month-end closing entries, supporting accrual and prepayment calculations, and maintaining financial systems for reporting and audit readiness. Responsibilities include tracking project and asset expenses, maintaining the fixed asset register, monitoring production cash flow, ensuring compliance of staff travel and expense claims, and responding to internal and external audit requests. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical and proactive problem-solving, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure timely financial processing and compliance.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cost reports, track expenses, and manage documentation for accurate financial reporting and cost control
- Assist with month-end closing activities including payroll entries, accounting deliverables verification, and accrual/prepayment calculations
- Support project and asset management by tracking expenses, maintaining the fixed asset register, and monitoring production cash flow accuracy
- Monitor staff travel and expense claims to ensure compliance with internal policies and proper documentation
- Maintain financial systems by entering transactions, generating reports, and organizing records for audit readiness
- Respond to audit requests by preparing schedules, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting internal control processes
