Job description
The Senior Trade Analyst role in the GTB Trade Middle Office of CIBG provides full business and sales support for open account portfolio participation, due diligence, and risk assessments. The role involves ensuring digital storage of verified documents, supporting documentation queries with factoring operations and clients, managing proposals for facility structure changes, conducting due diligence and validation under receivables finance programs, and driving efficiency through process digitization. Additionally, the role focuses on compliance, governance, and problem-solving by suggesting corrective measures, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring adherence to all bank policies and training requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Provide full support to Trade Sales Team on Open Account portfolio participation.
- Participate in the due diligence process, ensuring proper digital storage of verified documents.
- Support documentation for open account operations with Factoring operations, RMs, and clients.
- Complete proposals to change facility structures, including buyer/seller additions or deletions.
- Conduct due diligence and validation under Receivables Finance programs.
- Streamline and digitize processes to improve efficiency, operational resilience, and client experience.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Complete all mandatory and required trainings as per schedule.
- Perform RCSA activities to required standards.
- Identify and resolve concerns during due diligence and suggest risk mitigation measures.
- Recommend corrective measures for improving factoring structures and account conduct.
- Proactively resolve operational issues and customer complaints.
- Independently recommend factoring facilities and structures based on findings.
- Comment on client account conduct and suggest improvements to Product Managers/RMs/Trade Sales.
Experience & skills
- Minimum Graduation; MBA/CA/qualified accountant preferred.
- 4–6 years of banking experience.
- Certified diploma in Factoring (FCI or FDA) preferred.
- Strong numeric and computer skills.
- Local market knowledge.
- Understanding of financials, trade cycle, and terms of companies.
- Possess credit skills.
- Knowledge of bank products and operating systems.
- Familiarity with basic banking laws and local regulations.
- Good PC skills.
- Good presentation skills, pleasant personality, and diplomacy while maintaining independence from marketing considerations.
